A new development consisting of 13 residential buildings and 1 commercial building with 224 homes is coming to Haabersti, Jalami street. The development called Luuslangi, developed by Liven, will be built in three stages, and the first 80 homes will be ready at the end of 2023. Mitt & Perlebach, the project’s construction partner, began work on the first phase last week.

In the residential area designed by Kadarik Tüür Architects, three- and four-story A-energy class apartment buildings will be built, which will have a total of 14,157 square meters of living space. Those interested can choose between 2-4-room homes, 35-88 square meters in size. Each home has its own balcony or terrace, and high windows truly open up the space. The only commercial space in the area is planned to be inhabited by companies serving the region.

According to Madis Gilden, Liven’s development manager, the Luuslangi development was intended to create a residential area with a cosy feel. “The three- and four-story houses created by architects Kadarik Tüür form kind of small and private worlds of their own. A landscaped outdoor area with playgrounds will be built next to each residential building. In addition, the development is located in a place of natural beauty – near the Harku forest and lake,” commented Gilden.

When building houses, attention has also been paid to energy efficiency. “Solar panels will be installed on the roof of each building, and the district heating network will also be connected,” added Gilden.

“As with other Liven developments, the early buyers of Luuslangi homes can also choose the layout of the rooms and the interior design they like according to their taste. In accordance with the interior decoration, it is possible to order a designer kitchen with appliances and the rest of the fixed furniture,” added Gilden.

The construction partner of the project is Mitt & Perlebach, with whom Liven has previously collaborated in the construction of the Vääna 11 and Suur-Patarei 6 developments. According to Mitt & Perlebach board member Kristjan Mitt, the previous cooperation with Liven has given them confidence that they are a strong partner whose projects are thought out in detail.

The construction cost of stage 1 of Luuslangi is 11.5 million euros.
